The Belgian goalkeeper is adamant that he and his teammates are fully prepared for this weekend's Merseyside derby.
Everton host the Reds at Goodison Park looking to spoil Steven Gerrard’s last ever Merseyside derby, and the goalkeeper vows that there will no complacency from the visitors.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are in a good run of form following a poor start to the season, while Everton’s win over Crystal Palace last time around also ended their poor form over the Christmas period. A Phil Jagielka wonder goal saw the Blues leave Anfield with a point in September, but Mignolet is adamant that revenge won’t be on the players’ minds come the weekend.
"We'll make sure we try to do exactly what we have been doing,” said Mignolet.
“You can't think too much about what you have been doing but must start again for the next 90 minutes. This is Liverpool Football Club. We want to win every single game - it does not matter where you are playing. We want to win."
The Belgian stopper put in a number of poor displays in the beginning of the season, coming in for criticism from the fan base and resulting in him being dropped from the side. However, he has since returned and impressed as Liverpool have improved.
Mignolet has plenty of experience of Premier League derbies having featured in the Tyne-Wear derby for Sunderland against Newcastle, and says that the experiences from those means he is fully prepared for the challenges his team will face at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"The Newcastle derby was pretty hostile as well with the reception, but you enjoy the big games,” he added.
"You want to be in the spotlight. You enjoy it. I am 100 per cent about winning - not clean sheets. You win with the full 18 players - the whole squad - and that does not change.”
