Predicted Nottingham Forest XI to play Brighton and Hove Albion

Match to be played on Saturday 7th February 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Amex Stadium, Falmer.

Dougie Freedman will be determined for Nottingham Forest to get off to a good start under his reign when his side go to Brighton in the Championship this weekend.

It will be interesting to see if he makes many changes to the way Stuart Pearce set up the side but the importance of three points hasn’t changed, as Forest look to climb up the table and towards the play-off places.

He stressed the need for total commitment from his players after being confirmed in his position and after recent defeats, arguably the best approach this weekend could be to keep things tight and try to steal a goal or two in attack.

A win for the side could see them draw level on points with Birmingham, possibly going ahead of them based on their current goal difference.

The problem Freedman would have had to deal with this week has definitely been the defence because no side above Forest in the table has scored more goals. A clean sheet is very important for the side this weekend.

Here’s the potential side that Freedman could go with.

Nottingham Forest: de Vries, Kane, Hobbs, Wilson, McLaughlin, Lansbury, Osborn, Paterson, Antonio, Fryatt, Assombalonga
