Match to be played on Saturday 7th February 2015 at 15:00. Venue: iPro Stadium, Derby.
Derby are in great shape for promotion from the Championship; joint top of the table and behind Bournemouth simply because of goal difference.
It won’t be an easy game because Bolton showed how well they can play in their FA Cup replay defeat against Liverpool earlier this week.
They were close to going through to the next round in that tie, which shows the resilience and quality they have in terms of being able to sustain a lot of pressure.
Derby need the fans to be right behind the side for this game and over the rest of the season.
The supporters can give their team an edge by creating a hostile atmosphere and putting any nervous Bolton players on edge.
It will be interesting to see whether the Derby boss sticks with largely the same side or chooses to make a few changes to freshen things up.
Here’s the side McClaren might go with.
Derby County: Grant, Shotton, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth, Hendrick, Mascarell, Hughes, Ward, Martin, Bent
