Manchester United morning round-up: Young names Cantona as player he'd bring back to the club

A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester United.

The Daily Mail has quoted Ashley Young suggesting Eric Cantona as the former player he’s most impressed by.

The Frenchman was a legend during his time at Old Trafford for his skill on the pitch and his antics away from it.

Young suggests Cantona is the man he’d bring back to the club because the fans still sing his name constantly.

The Daily Express has quoted Paddy McNair as suggesting he’s happy to play anywhere for Manchester United.

The defender has been given a chance in the first team by Louis van Gaal this season and looks as though he can have a bright future at the club.

He’s said that he would play up front if that’s where van Gaal asked him to perform.

The Daily Star reports that Manchester United are one of the sides apparently interested in signing Samir Handanovic.

The Slovenian ace is reportedly fed up at Inter Milan and is apparently keen on a move away.

The Star suggests Liverpool as another interested party.
