MK Dons star David Martin has told the Daily Mail that he would be surprised if Dele Alli does not go on to represent England.
The 18-year-old, who signed for Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day, has been a revelation at League One level and Martin only had praise for the youngster.
The goalkeeper says that Alli has been one of his side's key players and he believes that his future is extremely bright.
"Del has probably got everything you need; height, strength, power and a football brain," he said. "He just doesn't show any fear. I will be surprised if he doesn't play for England."
It is easy to see why Martin speaks so highly of Alli, considering the central midfielder's role in their success this season.
MK are challenging for automatic promotion and that owes much to Alli's talents, with his performances in the middle of the pitch driving the team on.
The England youth international already has 12 goals to his name this campaign and he looks set to play a prominent role as they go for promotion.
The dream for Alli would be to guide MK to the Championship before joining up with his Tottenham teammates in the summer, where he will be aiming to prove that he is ready to make an impression even at the top level.
