The 20-year-old says Spurs' 5-3 win over Chelsea acts as proof they can win the north London derby.
Mauricio Pochettino's side drew with the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in this term's first north London derby and this time host their fierce rivals at White Hart Lane.
But it is another London derby Bentaleb feels Tottenham can draw upon when they face Arsenal later today. Indeed, Spurs' 5-3 win over Chelsea has given Pochettino's men the belief they need to win big games.
And midfielder Bentaleb feels it acts as proof that Tottenham can beat the old enemy.
"I’d love to win. We all want to win these big games. We proved we can do it against Chelsea and now we have to do it again, especially for our fans. It would be an important win," the 20-year-old said.
"Every player wants to play in these games and I'll be proud to do it again."
Tottenham can leapfrog Arsenal in the Premier League table with victory at White Hart Lane, with the north London side currently sitting two points behind the Gunners.
Spurs are sixth in the table, Arsenal fifth, while Southampton are level with Arsene Wenger's men and Manchester United just a point above in third.
It's all to play for at the Lane, then, and Pochettino's side only need to look back to the Chelsea win for belief. Arsenal, though, will know they too can draw upon recent experience, having beaten Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in January.
