Report: Saido Berahino up for sale, West Brom tired of 'poor attitude'

Saido Berahino Albion

West Brom are reportedly ready to sell striker Saido Berahino this season.

According to the Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion have grown tired of Saido Berahino's 'poor attitude' and will look to sell him this summer.

Berahino, 21, has hit 14 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Baggies this season, and his displays at The Hawthorns even earned him an England call-up back in November.

As one of the bright young prospects in English football, Berahino has been heavily linked with moves to Liverpool and Tottenham this season, but has remained with Tony Pulis' men for the second half of the season, with no January transfer completed.

Yet now, just days after the winter transfer window closed, the Telegraph believe that West Brom will look to sell the striker in the summer.

After Berahino told Sky Sports that he was looking to 'move on to bigger things' this week, it's believed that the Baggies are ready to part ways at the end of the season.

The Telegraph report that West Brom have had enough of Berahino's 'poor attitude' and will cash in at the next possible opportunity.

Liverpool and Tottenham will surely be linked once again, but this latest run-in with West Brom means there have to be questions asked about Berahino.

Both clubs will be wary of spending big money on a player who is reportedly causing problems with his current club, so if they have any intention of making a summer move, they will be closely monitoring his development in the second half of season.
