Former Newcastle United star Micky Quinn has hinted that Tottenham Hotspur have the advantage ahead of their game against Arsenal.
Former Newcastle United star Micky Quinn suggested on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show for talkSPORT that Tottenham Hotspur could have the advantage in the North London derby this weekend.
Tottenham have the home advantage for the match this weekend though Arsenal are ahead in terms of the Premier League table.
“I think it will be a good game and Tottenham are in great form – don’t forget about what they did to Chelsea at White Hart Lane,” said Quinn.
Spurs ran out 5-3 winners against Chelsea earlier in the season in front of their own fans, which shows what they are capable of against the biggest side when they are inspired and play well.
Spurs also have players who are bang in form with Harry Kane having scored 20 goals so far this season and Christian Eriksen heading into the match having scored in his last two games.
Spurs also go into the game off the back of a clean sheet against West Brom, which suggests there’s going to be some confidence in the back four.
Tottenham will also take confidence from the way they played against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season, where they went ahead thanks to a goal from Nacer Chadli.
There’s no reason why they can’t be on the end of a win.
