Lloris explains what can benefit key Tottenham Hotspur duo

Hugo Lloris

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris feels a strong team spirit can help Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen.

Hugo Lloris has told the Tottenham Hotspur website he feels team spirit is key moving forward.

The Frenchman feels that if Tottenham stay focused and work together, it has the benefit to pay off for in form players like striker Harry Kane and midfielder Christian Eriksen.

“I’m always talking about the team and team spirit and when the team is doing well defensively and offensively, it’s always better for our talented players like Christian and Harry,” said Lloris.

“We put them in the best condition and after that they make the difference, so we need to continue in this way all together and keep this belief because there are a lot of things to aim for.”

Tottenham’s team spirit will be tested to the limit this weekend in the cauldron which is the North London derby.

Any way the side can make the jobs of their in form players slightly easier is important and it’s encouraging that a significant figure at the club in Lloris is constantly preaching a message of unity.

Tottenham are going to experience a variety of challenges across all competitions for the rest of the season, which is going to test their team spirit to the limit.

The Premier League throws up matches like the clash against Arsenal on a weekly basis. There is never an easy week in the Premier League and commitment is important.

The Europa League represents a different kind of challenge and potentially more hostile atmospheres away from home.

Tottenham have experienced difficult conditions in Europe already this season and it will be interesting to see how they approach the game against Fiorentina.

As for the League Cup final, they’ll most likely need the team spirit Lloris talks about as they’ll arguably be the underdogs against Chelsea.

If Tottenham stay together, there’s no reason they can’t achieve their aims.
