Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has revealed his admiration for Nemanja Vidic and Frank Lampard on social networking site Twitter.
The 24-year-old made the comments during a Q&A session with Celtic fans on the club’s official Twitter account on Wednesday.
Vidic is currently playing for Italian giants Inter Milan, having joined them on a free transfer in the summer of 2014 after leaving Manchester United.
The 33-year-old defender is past his best now, but the Serbian was one of the best centre-backs in the world in his prime.
Griffiths will face the former Spartak Moscow star later this month when Celtic take on Inter in the round of 32 in the Europa League, and the Scotland international is looking forward to the occasion.

Griffiths has also revealed that the best player he has played against is Frank Lampard. The midfielder is currently playing for Manchester City, but he made his name at Chelsea.

Griffiths was also asked who would be his ideal striker partner. He named former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool star Peter Crouch, who is now at Stoke City.
