Leeds United striker Billy Sharp's celebration has gone viral in Spain.
Leeds United striker Billy Sharp's emotional celebrations against Huddersfield have gone viral in Spain.
The forward netted a last minute winner in the clash to make the scoreline 2-1 to Leeds, and leapt into the away end.
The wild scenes showed the 28-year-old's passion for the game, and his commitment to the club, revealing afterwards to the Yorkshire Evening Post he had rejected a move to Ipswich Town.
Now his crowd jump has even made news in Spain, the video picked up and published on the website of Spain's best selling newspaper, Marca.
Don't expect a bid from Real Madrid any time soon for the Leeds hero, but once again it re-emphasises the recognised name of Leeds United, who just over a decade ago were battling it out with Spanish giants Barcelona in the Champions League.
It's a nice side note to a memorable week for Sharp, but this weekend he is still not guaranteed a first team spot despite his heroics, with Mirco Antenucci, Steve Morison, and new signing Edgar Cani competing for places.
