Francis Coquelin looks ahead to the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has told the club’s official website that winning against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday will be “tough”.

The Gunners will take on Tottenham in the North London derby at White Hart Lane in a Premier League game which could have a huge impact on the race for the fourth spot.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side will head into the encounter placed fifth in the league table with 42 points from 23 matches, while Spurs are two points behind them in sixth.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham are in great form at the moment, and Coquelin insists that the Gunners have no option but to win the contest.

“It’s going to be a tough game - we’re playing away over there, so it’s going to be hard,” the 23-year-old told Arsenal’s official website. “I think with the month we’ve just had, the confidence is going to be high…

“When you play for Arsenal against Tottenham, it’s not about just playing your game, it’s about winning. You have to win it. For the fans and the team it’s a big game and it’s one we want to win.”

Coquelin key for Arsenal?

Coquelin will be a key player for Arsenal on Saturday, and his role in defensive midfield could prove to be the difference between winning and losing for the visitors.
