Former Inter Milan loanee Wallace confirmed that he wants to return to Chelsea in the summer but won’t find out his fate until the season is over.

Wallace, 20, has conceded that he will have to wait to find out his fate at Chelsea but admitted he would like to return to the club.

The Brazil Under-20 defender, who is currently on loan with Blues’ feeder club Vitesse, was open about his situation with the West London club in an interview with Sambafoot and confirmed he is looking to get into the Chelsea team as soon as possible.

‘’I do not know,’’ replied Wallace when asked if there was any plans for him to return to Chelsea next season.

‘’Nothing is decided yet. That will depend on my form to the end of the season. My only goal is currently to finish well in the Championship [Eredivisie]. We’ll then see what their decision is

‘’My [overall] goal is to return to Chelsea as soon as possible.’’

What are the chances of a Chelsea return for Wallace this summer?

The attack-minded defender has played 13 times in the Dutch top-tier with Vitesse this season, scoring one goal.

In his last match for the club, coming in a 4-1 defeat to Heerenveen, he was brought off at half-time after an impressive Sam Larsson was able to get the best of him and create all three first-half goals to give his side a 3-0 lead going into the second half.

At 20, the defender still has plenty of time to progress but as it stands it seems unlikely the Brazilian will get regular football at Stamford Bridge next season and is most likely depart from the club either on a permanent or temporary basis once again.
