This change in ownership has opened up the studio to develop games for other platforms. Daybreak Game Company's president, John Smedley, has already announced his excitement to create Xbox One games.

The studio's games currently in development, such as H1Z1, will "continue on their current path of development and operation" and they "expect to have even more resources available" as a result of their new owners.
