Leeds United fans react on Twitter to signing of Edgar Cani from Catania

Leeds United supporters take to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Edgar Cani on loan from Catania.

Leeds United signed Edgar Cani from Catania on loan for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day.

The Whites made the announcement on Monday, adding that move was subject to international clearance, as confirmed by the club's official website.

Cani is a 25-year-old Albania international who has spent most of his career in Italy, playing for the likes of Pescara, Palermo and Ascoli among others.

The Tirana-born player is not a big-name player and cannot be described as a ‘prolific striker’, as his goals record is not great.

Cani scored three goals in 14 appearances in Serie B this season and will have to hit the ground running in the Championship.

Leeds are struggling at the moment and remain in danger of suffering relegation to League One despite two successive wins.

Following the announce of Cani’s arrival, Leeds fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the striker.
