Bitton on Celtic v Rangers experience
Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton says that the side's League Cup game against Rangers was one of the most emotional he has ever been a part of.
Bitton played the duration of the match, helping the Bhoys to a 2-0 win, and he was delighted to come out on the winning side.
"I am very happy now because that was one of the most emotional games I have played in," he said to the Daily Record.
“We knew it was going to be difficult, so I’m happy we won."
Mackay-Steven on Celtic move
Celtic's deadline day signing Gary Mackay-Steven admits that he didn't know whether his move to Parkhead would go through.
Mackay-Steven, who signed from Dundee United, was a last minute arrival at the Bhoys and now his future has been sorted he says that he can't wait to get started.
“It was a crazy couple of hours," he said to the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "I wasn’t sure at the start of the day whether it would go through but thankfully it did and the medical got done so it’s great to sign on the dotted line.
“Everything is just a dream. I can’t wait to get started. I’m just buzzing.”
Armstrong on what he can bring
Celtic's new arrival Stuart Armstrong says that he is hoping to bring excitement to Parkhead after joining from Dundee United yesterday.
Armstrong's transfer to the Scottish champions was rushed through with the transfer deadline looming, and the central midfielder admits that he hasn't had a chance to acclimatise to his new surroundings yet.
"It's not quite sunk in," he told Sky Sports. "There is still a lot to think about and to get used to and I'm really looking forward to that.
"Hopefully I can provide a bit of excitement and goals going forward. The fans probably know a bit about me but I would like to show them a bit more."
