Celtic signed Gary Mackay-Steven from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee United on transfer deadline day.
The Scottish champions had already agreed a pre-contract with the 24-year-old, whose contract with United was due to run out at the end of the season.
According to BBC Sport, Celtic paid United £250,000 to sign the winger on deadline day, while also recruiting Stuart Armstrong from the same club.
Mackay-Steven is considered as one of the best wingers in Scotland at the moment and had been on the books of the Dundee-based club since 2011.
The former Airdrie United star is also a Scotland international and could seamlessly fit into Celtic’s style of football.
Mackay-Steven knows the Scottish Premiership inside out and could prove to be valuable in the Bhoys’ chances of winning the league title this season.
Following the announcement of the deal late on transfer deadline day on Monday evening, Celtic fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Mackay-Steven.
