According to a report from Italian website Calciomercato.it, Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul could remain in the Premier League even if he leaves White Hart Lane in what remains of the transfer window.
The French centre-back has been linked with a potential move to AS Roma, but the latest report claims that while the Italian club is a possible destination, Hull City have also been in talks with Spurs regarding the centre-back, while Queens Park Rangers allegedly made their move at the weekend.
Kaboul has made 15 appearances for Tottenham this season but he is no longer a first-choice at the club, seeing his place in the heart of defence taken by Jan Vertonghen and summer signing Federico Fazio.
Having not featured in any of Tottenham’s last 12 Premier League matches, it would be no surprise if Kaboul moved on but time is running out.
The latest report claims QPR have attempted what Calciomercato calls “a very aggressive manoeuvre that threatens to end the plans of Hull.” But it remains to be seen exactly where the player will go if he does leave White Hart Lane by the close of business tonight.
