According to Sky Sports, Celtic have finally had bids accepted for Dundee United midfielders Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven.
The Bhoys beat Old Firm rivals Rangers on Sunday, and look set to give their fans another big boost tonight as Armstrong and Mackay-Steven near moves to Celtic Park.
Midfielder Armstrong, 22, impressed for Dundee United last season with 11 goals and 11 assists, and his exploits haven't gone unnoticed.
Burnley reportedly had a bid rejected for Armstrong last week, whilst Celtic have been pursuing him intensely late into the transfer window.
Reports from Sky Sports earlier today suggested that Celtic had given up on signing Armstrong after seeing a £1.6m bid turned down - but it appears the Bhoys have made one final offer, and have succeeded with it.
Sky Sports suggest that Armstrong is now undergoing a medical at Celtic Park ahead of a move to join Ronny Deila's men.
It's taken some time, but it appears that Celtic are finally landing their man - and a move to sign his team mate Mackay-Steven may also be close.
The 24-year-old winger has already penned a pre-contract agreement with Celtic to join the club on a free transfer this summer, but it appears the Hoops have persuaded their Scottish Premiership rivals into an early deal, with the former Liverpool youngster also undergoing a medical according to Sky Sports.
