Andre Schurrle has joined Wolfsburg for a reported £22 million.
Chelsea have certainly had a busy day today, with Juan Cuadrado arriving and both Mohamed Salah and Andre Schurrle departing Stamford Bridge.
Salah has gone to Fiorentina on a loan deal as part of the Cuadrado swoop while Schurrle has switched Chelsea for Wolfsburg, much like Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne did this time last year.
The deal is officially for an undisclosed fee, but the BBC report that he has cost Wolfsburg a fee in the region of £22 million.
His time at Chelsea has recently turned sour. After an excellent summer, in which he won the World Cup with Germany, he has struggled in recent weeks for first-team football under Jose Mourinho.
His departure will however be a sore one for some players. He was popular in the camp and several Chelsea players have said their goodbyes to the player on Twitter and Instagram this afternoon, including two who only joined in the summer.
Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis were the players in question, who sent these messages to the German.
