Ghana are through to the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations after a comfortable 3-0 win against Guinea.
There was of course some Premier League interest in the game. For Ghana, Everton's loanee Christian Atsu was on the right-hand side.
The Chelsea owned player was sensational for the Black Stars, producing easily his best performance of the competition so far.
Atsu has failed to impress in an Everton shirt but this performance will certainly give fans more hope of an exciting second half of the season from the young wide man.
He looked far more like the player who terrorised defences at the World Cup and in the Eredivisie six months ago. He scored two of Ghana's goals in the game.
He netted the first strike in simple fashion. He ran onto a squared ball to tuck away a neat finish at the far post into an empty net.
The third goal of the game, and Atsu's second, was far from simple. He cut in on to his favoured left peg from the right hand side, before unleashing a fantastic effort into the far top corner of the Guinea net.
It was a fantastic goal and a fantastic performance - Everton fans will be hoping to see more of this Christian Atsu when he returns from international duty.
