Arsenal legend was speaking to French television about his incredible feeling at scoring against Leeds United.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has described the moment he scored against Leeds United in the FA Cup as one of the best moments of his career.

Having departed the Gunners in 2007 for Barcelona, Henry returned on loan in 2012 for a short period during the MLS off season, to spend six weeks with Arsenal.

His first goal of three upon his comeback was a memorable one, converted in classic Henry style, passing the ball across the goalkeeper into the net to break the deadlock in a third round FA Cup tie against Leeds United.

Speaking to French television channel BeIN Sports and translated by GFN France, Henry told how thrilled he was to net again in front of The Emirates crowd.

He said: "I have never had a chance to score a goal as a fan. With the history I had here, I came back as a fan.

"I have never exploded (in celebration) like that. I have never had a reaction like that."

Henry probably could not have dreamed his return better, and while the 2011/12 season was an unsuccessful campaign for Arsenal, Henry's goalscoring return was a moment of football perfection for fans captured in just one match, of which those who were there will treasure the memory of forever - Henry included.
