Queens Park Rangers suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Stoke City on Saturday, with Harry Redknapp's side losing 3-1 to Mark Hughes' men.
A hat-trick from Jonathan Walters gave the Potters three more points and suggested they could still get the necessary goals despite the recent injury suffered by summer signing Bojan Krkic.
But while Stoke's players were praised some of QPR's came in for heavy criticism on social media, with centre-back Richard Dunne one such target.
The 35-year-old was making his 17th appearance of the season but it is one he will want to forget in terms of the result, as his side remained in the Premier League's bottom three.
A look at Dunne's individual statistics suggests he did not have the worst of games, as he won four tackles and made eight effective clearances, while winning far more duels than he lost (nine to three).
He did however do worse when it came to aerial duels, losing three of the five he contested.
|Passing Accuracy||Tackles Won||Effective Clearances||Duels Lost||Duels Won||Fouls||Aerials Lost||Aerials Won||Mins Played|
The QPR defender was also not directly at fault for any shots or goals that Stoke managed, while he was not dispossessed and he gave the ball away himself on just nine occasions.
|Dispossessed||Error Lead To Goal||Error Lead To Shot||Possession Lost||Mins Played|
Despite all that, the former Republic of Ireland international did not attract much positive comment after the weekend encounter.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what fans of both QPR and Stoke thought of Dunne's performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
