Former Celtic players Joe Ledley and Gary Hooper made a trip to Hampden Park to watch the club beat rivals Rangers.

Celtic progressed to the final of the Scottish League Cup with a 2-0 win, living up to their status coming into the game as heavily backed favourites.

The game was the first match between the two teams since 2012, with Rangers currently in the division below Ronny Deila's side.

Joe Ledley was just leaving Celtic a year ago, making a deadline day move to English Premier League side Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old has made 19 starts for the Eagles, scoring once, with his affinity for his former side shared by the in-form Hooper.

Gary Hooper had an injury affected start to the season in the Championship with Norwich City, but has come into impressive form over the last two months, scoring six goals and providing five assists in nine starts for the Canaries.
