Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce has come under severe criticism from the club’s fans on social networking site Twitter.
Forest have been struggling for form and for points since December, and do not look like they will be able to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
The Reds suffered their second successive defeat in the Championship on Saturday when they went down 1-0 at home to Millwall.
The Nottingham-based outfit headed into the game at the City Ground on the back of a 3-2 away defeat to Fulham on Wednesday.
Millwall are struggling for survival in the second tier of English football, and many football followers would have expected Forest to win.
However, Pearce’s side slipped up in front of their own supporters and suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat, Ricardo Fuller’s goal in the 83rd minute proving to be the difference between the two sides.
The result has left Forest 12th in the Championship table with 34 points from 28 matches, seven points above third-from-bottom Millwall and 13 points behind sixth-placed Watford.
After the match, the Forest fans took to social networking site Twitter to express their frustration with Pearce. Below are the best reactions.
@Official_NFFC When we're relegated to League 1, the away win at Derby will provide scant consolation. Pearce must go, I'm afraid.— Peter Hutchinson (@PeterHutchinso5) January 31, 2015
@Official_NFFC what a joke! They are a poor side that have conceded 11 in last 3 away games why can't we get control against a poor side— Andrea Silenzi (@topcatffs) January 31, 2015
@Official_NFFC No.... wow.... watch out Mourinho, your job is hanging by a thread lmao— Nick (@nffc82) January 31, 2015

@Official_NFFC Pearce will always be a legend who is Forest through and through!Sadly it's time for a new manager who can try an avoid drop!— Ivor Biggun (@redanddeadly) February 1, 2015
@Official_NFFC Just to add, without history you are nothing as a club, Pearce is one of our own, regardless of his abysmal managerial record!— Ivor Biggun (@redanddeadly) February 1, 2015
I think I speak for every Forest fan that we don't hate stuart pearce we all love him. but at the end of the day its not working #nffc— Barry Wright (@shakermakeruk) February 1, 2015
Plenty of games left, we need to string a few wins together. Playoffs aren't totally lost but Pearce needs to turn it around asap #nffc— Tan (@TanRockstar) February 1, 2015
We're closer to relegation than playoffs. Pearce maybe a legend, but he's under justified pressure now with a trigger happy chairman! #nffc— Tan (@TanRockstar) February 1, 2015
