Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Philippe Coutinho performance v West Ham

The Brazilian set up both Liverpool goals in a 2-0 win.

Liverpool continued their recent good form yesterday with a comfortable 2-0 victory over West Ham United at Anfield. A change of formation from Brendan Rodgers has worked wonders recently, with his 3-6-1 seemingly the slution to some early season struggles.

After the game the main talking point was of course Daniel Sturridge. After five months injured he returned to the fold as a second half substitute yesterday and did what he does best, scored.

Raheem Sterling had already bagged the first so Liverpool fans are rightly beginning to get excited about the future of the club's attacking options once again.

However while the two scorers got many a plaudit, as well as the excellent Mamadou Sakho at the back, the performance of the little Brazilian Philippe Coutinho cannot be underestimated once again.

The former Inter Milan star was in sensational form for Liverpool yesterday, once again demonstrating his mercurial ability.

His passing was top drawer, dribbling evasive and vision exemplary as always.

His reputation for creating chances is impressive and he created both goals for Liverpool at Anfield yesterday.

West Ham simply could not pick up the elusive playmaker who once again showed off his mercurial ability in this Liverpool team.

Here is some reaction to Coutinho's performance from Twitter...
