Leeds United made it two wins in a row in the Championship on Saturday when they got the better of Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town 2-1 away from home.
The Whites headed into the Championship clash at the John Smith’s Stadium on the back of a 1-0 win against high-flyers Bournemouth at Elland Road on Tuesday.
Neil Redfearn’s side took the lead in Huddersfield after just seven minutes when Sam Byram found the target with ease. The hosts restored parity on 26 minutes when Harry Bunn headed in a corner.
It looked like it was going to end in a 1-1 draw when Billy Sharp popped up in the 90th minute to score the winner.
The victory has lifted Leeds up to 19th in the Championship table with 32 points from 28 matches, just five points above third-from-bottom Millwall.
After the match, Leeds trio Liam Cooper, Sharp and Charlie Taylor took to social networking site Twitter to revel in the win.
