Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ledley King has been singing the praises of Harry Kane on social networking site Twitter.
England Under-21 international striker Kane has been in impressive form this season and has established himself as a first-team regular for Tottenham.
Kane found the target in the 15th minute and then in the 64th minute from the penalty spot to take his tally to 20 goals in all competitions this season, including 10 in the Premier League.
King, a former England international, was impressed with Kane’s performance and hailed him on Twitter.
The 34-year-old retired defender also had positive words for former Tottenham teammate Jermain Defoe, who scored his first goal for Sunderland on Saturday.
England international striker Defoe scored his 125th Premier League goal during the Black Cats’ 2-0 win against Burnley at the Stadium of Light.
It was Sunderland’s second home win of the season in the Premier League this season and enhanced their chances of staving off relegation to the Championship.
Tottenham are currently sixth in the Premier League table, while Sunderland are just four points above the relegation zone in 14th.
