Tottenham Hotspur defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-0 this weekend with the usual suspects making the difference once again.
Christian Eriksen opened the scoring with a wonderful free-kick just six minutes into the game and man-of-the-moment Harry Kane ended the match with a brace.
Tottenham’s win means they climbed up to fifth in the table, ahead of North London rivals Arsenal who play on Sunday.
Tottenham enjoyed 63 per cent possession on the day, scoring from 75 per cent of their chances on target to prove what a clinical display it was by Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The two sides had almost exactly the same figures in terms of shots and shots on target but Spurs were simply far more effective in front of goal, with Kane looking great once again.
West Brom are 15th in the table, three points outside the relegation zone, and they will want to put this match behind them as soon as possible.
