Hull City are in talks regarding a possible move for Tottenham Hotspur player Aaron Lennon.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed in an interview with the BBC that the Tigers are in talks regarding Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon.

The 27-year-old winger has made 17 appearances for Spurs this season but it seems he could be on his way following Bruce’s latest comments.

When asked if Hull were interested in the player, the former centre-back replied, “We have had conversations with Spurs over the last 24 hours and it now rests on the boy Aaron himself.”

Lennon has played a total of 364 matches for Tottenham, scoring 30 goals and providing 77 assists in that time.

The England international has featured predominantly in the Europa League this season but he has also shown during some Premier League matches that he still has plenty to offer.

He would be an outstanding addition to Hull’s side if they can sign him either on loan or in a permanent deal, but with Tottenham still going strong in three competitions Lennon may find it hard to move on, despite his lack of game-time.

Alternatively he could hold out for alternative offers, something a player of his talent is likely to have before the transfer window closes once again.
