A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United take on Huddersfield at lunch-time today in a match Neil Redfearn’s side will be desperate to win.

Leeds are undefeated in their last three matches and had an impressive 1-0 victory against Bournemouth last time out, but this away match will be tough and it will be interesting to see who Redfearn picks given his recent additions.

In early team news, the BBC reports that loan signings Sol Bamba and Granddi Ngoyi are both expected to be included in the match-day squad, while Giuseppe Bellusci is unavailable due to suspension.

Steve Morison is expected to feature despite a recent hip problem.

In other news, Leeds’ official website has published comments from assistant head coach Steve Thompson following an interview he gave to LUTV.

Thompson swapped Huddersfield for his stint at Elland Road back in December and he says he has no regrets about the move.

“We are showing signs that we have got a quality squad,” he said.

“Redders and Leeds United wanted me here. I wish it had got done earlier and didn’t drag on as much but I have no regrets coming here.”

Leeds are currently 20th in the Championship table but three more points this afternoon will push them further in the right direction.
