Alan Pardew will look to continue his promising start to life as Crystal Palace manager with a win over struggling Everton at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

The former Newcastle boss has notched four wins in a row as Palace boss, beating Dover, Tottenham, Burnley, Southampton with the Eagles now soaring.

New signing Jordon Mutch is on the bench for Palace after arriving from QPR this week, but there is no place in the 18 for fellow new addition Shola Ameobi.

Everton have lost four of their last six games, and their last outing was the controversial 0-0 draw against West Brom, where Kevin Mirallas missed a penalty having wrestled the ball away from regular spot kick taker Leighton Baines.

Manager Roberto Martinez is in desperate need of a win today, but Pardew will be confident of notching another victory.
