Predicted Nottingham Forest side to play Millwall: One change for Pearce

Match to be played on Saturday 31st January 2015 at 15:00. Venue: City Ground, Nottingham.

Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce will urge his side to put three points on the bard in a potentially difficult game against Millwall.

Forest were one of the early pace setters in the Championship, but have since fallen off the pace, but they have a chance to improve their position as they look up towards the play-off places.

The problem for the team has been finding the consistency to make progress in the right direction.

Forest showed the sort of performance they’re capable of with an impressive win against local rivals Derby, but that remains their only victory this month ahead of the game against the Londoners.

Pearce will also have one eye on Monday’s deadline and how he can improve his squad and whether there is the chance for any players to head out of the exit door.

However, his main focus has to be on the game this weekend and ensuring that his side gets three important points because he’ll be wary of the team slipping into the bottom half of the table.

Here’s the side Pearce might go with for the game.

Nottingham Forest: de Vries, Kane, Hobbs, Wilson, McLaughlin, Antonio, Gardner, Lansbury, Osborn, Tesche, Assombalonga
