The talented 20-year-old impressed on a recent trial.
Manchester United fans were treated this summer to a litany of big name signings. The likes of Angel Di Maria, Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw and Radamel Falcao all came through the Old Trafford revolving door.
So this January has been some what disappointing. The club have only signed Victor Valdes, himself a free transfer who had been training with the club for the past two months.
However today they did complete a signing, but not of a big name.
Instead they have announced the signing of 20-year-old right-back Sadiq El Fitouri, on an 18-month deal, from Salford City.
"This is honestly a dream come true for me and I have to thank Salford City for the chance, as well as the faith they have shown in me.
"I am really looking forward to what happens next and to be given the opportunity to do so at Manchester United is unbelievable."
The Libya-born star was previously on the books at rivals Manchester City and was laying for the Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and co run non-league side Salford before undergoing a trial at United earlier this month.
He is certainly ecstatic about the move and looked it on his signing on picture, as he fulfils a dream that for him looked dead.
Here's hoping he can continue his Cinderella story by pushing on into the United first-team in years to come.
