The 19-year-old left-back is yet to feature in a senior matchday squad for Liverpool.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has not been afraid to give young players a chance in training with the first-team this season. The likes of Jordan Rossiter, Jordan Williams and Jordon Ibe are all current regulars in first-team training whilst the likes of Daniel Trickett-Smith, Sheyi Ojo, Cameron Brannagan and Lloyd Jones have also been involved.
Now, a new face has appeared in first-team training. Joe Maguire was snapped in Liverpool's training session yesterday. He got stuck in with the likes of Adam Lallana, Fabio Borini and Martin Skrtel in snowy conditions at the Melwood base yesterday.
The left-back may have been drafted into the session after Mamadou Sakho pulled out with a minor back problem.
Maguire is just 19-years-old and has been with the club for ten years already. A ball-playing defender, he is a regular member of the Liverpool under-21 side. However this is one of the first times he has been spotted training with the Liverpool first-team, so it must have been an exciting morning for the Manchester born talent.
Maguire is yet to feature in a matchday squad for Liverpool, but he only turned 19 earlier this month. Perhaps this is the player beginning to progress at the club.
