LEGO’s new video game homages for 2015 are going to be based on the Jurassic Park and Marvel Avengers movies.
First up will be LEGO Jurassic World scheduled for PC, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, the Xboxes and the PlayStations in June 2015. The game is to reference the previous dinosaur dramas of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III along with the upcoming Jurassic World.
Then in the autumn LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is due to arrive for the same selection of platforms as above. Again the title is to blend in storylines from the first Avengers movie and the upcoming Age of Ultron sequel, plus “more” according to Warner Bros.
“The LEGO video game franchise remains a cornerstone of our business, consistently delivering fun, engaging gameplay and remarkable humor both kids and adults love,” said David Haddad, Executive Vice President and General Manager at Warner Bros Interactive. “We look forward to expanding the successful series with this very exciting line-up of new LEGO experiences for players of all ages to enjoy on console, handheld and mobile gaming devices.”
It was also announced that Warner Bros plan to bring LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch this spring
