Nathan Redmond of Norwich City is wishing all the best for his former team-mate.
It was a busy day at Crystal Palace yesterday as Alan Pardew moved to bring in several new signings to Selhurst Park. The new boss has led the club to an incredible run of form since leaving Newcastle for his former club and has moved to strengthen ranks with several new signings.
He confirmed the arrivals of Shola Ameobi on a free and Jordon Mutch from QPR yesterday and Palace fans are rightly excited about the direction the club is taking under Pardew.
One man who was very congratulatory of Mutch regarding his move to Palace was former Birmingham City team-mate and Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond.
The pair were at Birmingham together from when Mutch was 16 and joined from Derby County and Redmond was 13, but they both came through the youth ranks at the club around the same time.
Redmond was clearly pleased for his old team-mate, posting this on Twitter yesterday:
Good luck to my brother @jordonmutch on his move to Palace! Do bits bro— Redderz (@NathanRedmond22) January 29, 2015
Mutch only joined QPR from Cardiff City in the summer but has failed to make a lasting impact at Loftus Road. The Crystal Palace newbie played just 11 games for the club managing to score a grand total of zero goals.
Palace fans will hope his change of scenery will bring out the best in him for the remainder of the season.
