Chelsea morning round-up: Schurrle and Salah linked with exits as deadline looms

A round up of news stories this morning related to Chelsea.

ESPN is reporting that German star Andre Schurrle will have a medical with German club Wolfsburg today.

Schurrle has struggled to find a regular place in the first team under Jose Mourinho this season.

ESPN claims the move is part of a tactic by Chelsea so that they have enough time to sign Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina.

The Daily Mail has reported that the same Italian club have offered a fee of £750,000 to take Mohamed Salah on loan.

Salah is part of the Chelsea first team squad, but has struggled to have any impact at the club.

The Daily Mail claims Spanish side Real Sociedad are also interested in a deal for him.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has been quoted by FIFA sending out a warning to Manchester City ahead of the big clash this weekend.

Chelsea saw off Liverpool earlier this week to make it into the final of the League Cup and Ivanovic feels their performance showed the power they have in their team at the moment.
