Championship predictions: A win for Derby County, a point for Leeds

Derby County Away Flag

Wins for Derby, Middlesbrough, Norwich City, a draw between Huddersfield Town and Leeds United plus more.

There are plenty of exciting games on the Championship fixture list with the league action returning after a break for the FA Cup.

Bournemouth play Watford this evening as the first game in the cards and it will be interesting to see how the Cherries play having been challenged by Derby’s win earlier this week.

Eddie Howe will be determined for his side to get their noses in front in the title race, creating a gap over Derby and their other main rivals.

Watford have a chance to solidify their position in the play-off places with Wolves and Norwich hot on their heels and looking to sneak into the top six.

At the other end of the table, Millwall, Wigan and Blackpool are all staring down the barrel with the East Londoners the closest to safety although they are chasing a five point gap from Rotherham, who are just outside the relegation zone.

Blackpool are worst off, 12 points away from safety as things stand heading into the weekend.
