There is no doubt that Tottenham Hotspur have given a lot of chances to their talented youngsters recently. This season has seen Danny Rose, Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane all become vital members of the first-team at White Hart Lane.

Recently, another young Spurs talent was given a chance to shine in the form of Joshua Onomah. The 17-year-old came on as Tottenham struggled to a 4-2 win against Burnley in the FA Cup earlier this month.

He has not yet added to that tally, but he was an avid viewer as Tottenham scraped their way past Sheffield United fto book a place in the Capital One Cup final.

The hero of the day was Christian Eriksen. The Danish playmaker was excellent as Tottenham drew 2-2 at Bramall Lane to secure a 3-2 aggregate win for the club.

He scored both goals at the club, a stunning free-kick and a calm left-foot strike in the 87th minute to secure the win.

Onomah paid tribute to the Dane on Twitter, with a simple applause to the player on Twitter.

The England under-17 international will be hoping to play alongside Eriksen in the not so distant future.
