Tottenham round-up: Moyes reportedly wants Spurs star, Walker heaps praise on 22-year-old

David Moyes

The latest media stories and Tottenham Hotspur transfer news.

Aaron Lennon

According to ESPN, Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is a transfer target for Real Sociedad boss David Moyes.

Moyes spent over a decade managing in the Premier League - first at Everton before an unsuccessful spell at Manchester United.

And the Sociedad boss is said to hold Lennon high on his list of potential January targets.

The 27-year-old Spurs winger has been the subject of interest from several Premier League clubs, according to ESPN's report, but no deal has as of yet been agreed.

Lennon has featured sparsely for Tottenham this term and Moyes believes he could add real value to his La Liga outfit.

Kyle Walker

Elsewhere, Spurs right-back Kyle Walker has added his name to the long list of footballers and ex-pros to heap praise on 22-year-old Christian Eriksen.

The Tottenham midfielder scored twice for the north London side during last night's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg at Sheffield United, adding yet another late goal to his impressive tally for the season.

"The man again popped up at the end - he keeps doing it time and time again," Walker is quoted as saying by Sporting Life.

"When he gets there you put your house on him. It is very rare that he scuffs it or misses. He can keep doing it for me, every week."

Tottenham travel to West Brom this Saturday for a 3pm kick-off in the Premier League.
