Report: Wolves and Celtic target Michal Zyro offered to Chelsea

Legia Warsaw

A report in Poland has indicated that Michal Zyro’s agent has offered the winger to Chelsea.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to Celtic over the summer, as per the Scotsman, before Wolves enquired into his availability this week.

TMW reported that story, claiming that the Championship side had already made an offer, but were facing competition from Serie A club Genoa. Legia have no need to sell one of their stars and brightest prospects, having just made a healthy profit off the sale of 17-year-old Krystian Bielik to Arsenal, and there was no indication in that report as to whether they intended to accept the offer.

Whilst Legia have no need to sell, they could be tempted by a big offer, and a new story in Legia.Sport suggests that the player is keen on a move away from his homeland, with his agent actively approaching clubs over making a move for him.

The report indicates that left-winger Zyro has been offered to a number of English clubs, with Chelsea name checked as one of the teams to have shown an interest in taking up the offer.

However, his agent wants him to go to a club where he will be guaranteed to play, making a transfer to Wolves - whilst not as fancy as a move to Stamford Bridge - a much wiser career path. No other clubs have been named in the report, despite the reference to numerous offers being made, and so it appears as if it will be a straight up fight between the Championship and Premier League clubs.
