According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are keeping tabs on Argentine striker Sergio Araujo, who is currently on loan at Spanish side Las Palmas from Boca Juniors.
Araujo, 23, was highly rated at Boca Juniors during his teenage years, and even earned a season-long move to Barcelona B in 2012.
After just four goals in 19 games during a loan spell with Boca's Argentine rivals Tigre, Araujo was again farmed out on loan, this time to Las Palmas.
This time, Araujo has been a success, hitting 13 goals in 21 games for the Segunda side - and with Celtic recently playing a number of games in the Gran Canaria, Araujo has reportedly impressed Bhoys manager Ronny Deila.
Araujo scored twice in a 5-3 win over Real Zaragoza in front of Deila, and the Scottish Sun believe that the Argentine is now on Deila's transfer wish list.
With John Guidetti only on loan at Celtic Park from Manchester City and Anthony Stokes linked with a move to Leeds, Deila may well need to sign another striker in the summer.
And with Araujo only on loan at Las Palmas - a second division club - Celtic could well be favourites to land him if they make a move in the coming months.
