Deila looking to build trust
Celtic manager Ronny Deila is determined to build supporters' trust in him and he feels the best way to do this is by winning football matches.
The Bhoys have made a steady, if unspectacular, start under Deila's regime, but he is hoping that any doubters are won over soon.
"You build trust through experiences and results," he told the Glasgow Evening Times. "So far we have quite good results and if we can continue winning it is going to be even better."
Celtic want Mavrias
Celtic are interested in signing out-of-favour Sunderland winger Charis Mavrias for £2 million, according to the Daily Record.
Mavrias has struggled for appearances at the Stadium of Light ever since arriving there back in 2013, but the Bhoys have clearly seen enough in him to suggest he would be a worthwhile buy.
Deila on Celtic approach
Ronny Deila is determined not to allow his Celtic side to be influenced by their emotions ahead of the upcoming derby match with Rangers.
The Bhoys take on the Light Blues in the League Cup this weekend, with excitement for the fixture increasing by the hour, but Deila wants his side to treat it like any other game.
"I think it is not going to be too emotional before the game because you so concentrated on what you are going to do and the task to try and win the game," he told the Glasgow Evening Times. "But hopefully if we have a good result it is easier to enjoy the feelings and the emotions."
