The latest media stories and Tottenham Hotspur transfer news.
The Ligue 1 side had been widely reported to have registered an interest in signing the 30-year-old from Spurs on loan this January but the Standard report that the north London side are unwilling to let the Togolese striker leave White Hart Lane.
And their report suggests two reasons why Tottenham do not want to loan Adebayor out. Firstly, no immediate replacement is lined up for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Secondly, Adebayor himself is said to want to stay at Spurs this term.
However, the Daily Telegraph report the exact opposite: that Tottenham's stance on the 30-year-old has softened, allowing PSG to open talks with the north London side about signing the Togolese forward until the end of the campaign.
Tottenham face Sheffield United in the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final tonight and Adebayor, despite being welcomed back into the first-team picture by boss Pochettino, has failed to impress at White Hart Lane in recent weeks.
So far, however, the forward's future is the subject of very mixed reports...
