The Daily Mail report that Crystal Palace will have to spend £10 million for Wilfried Zaha should they want to sign the winger on a permanent transfer from Manchester United.
Zaha has been on a loan move to Selhurst Park since the start of the season and he seems to have rediscovered some of the form which made him such a threat in his younger years.
The 21-year-old winger has had a troubled time since he left Palace back in 2013, but a move back there is starting to rekindle him back to his best.
The Eagles have seen enough in Zaha to be hoping to make his stay a longer one than the initial season that was agreed, but it will take a considerable amount of money for them to be able to do so.
United reportedly want a £3 million payment up-front, with £3 million offered in add-ons, should Zaha go on to fulfil his obvious potential.
The Red Devils are also demanding that £4 million which they owe Palace from the 2013 transfer is scrapped.
The deal, therefore, would have to be considered a show of faith from Alan Pardew's side if they are to go through with it.
Although Pardew has been backed with funds, this would be a considerable chunk of his budget to spend and it would be a huge investment in the future.
