Match to be played on Saturday 31st January 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Stadium of Light, Sunderland.
The two sides are currently separated only by goal-difference and with both teams just a single point outside the drop-zone they will know three points on Saturday could be vital.
Burnley lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace last time out and after having a weekend off Sean Dyche’s men will be fresh and ready to go again.
The Clarets are an entertaining and creative side and Sunderland will have to be at their best to keep them at bay. The problem lays at the other end, where Dyche’s men have conceded 36 goals – the second-worst record in the division this season.
Stephen Ward is out with an ankle injury while Kevin Long remains side-lined with a knee injury. Matt Taylor is also out with an Achilles problem.
Below is the side we predict Burnley will pick this weekend:
Predicted Burnley starting line-up: Heaton, Trippier, Keane, Shackell, Mee, Boyd, Marney, Jones, Arfield, Ings, Barnes
