Izaguirre wants the treble
Celtic defender Emilio Izaguirre has set an ambitious target for his side to achieve over the rest of the season.
The Honduran defender believes that the Bhoys can win every domestic competition they enter this term and has challenged his teammates to win the treble.
“We would love to win the treble this year, and that’s what we’ll be fighting to achieve, even though we know it will be very difficult," he said to the club's official site.
Ambrose to remain at Celtic
Efe Ambrose will be a Celtic player beyond the January transfer window, according to his agent, Dudu Dahan.
The Nigerian international has been linked with a £3 million move to Olympiacos by the Glasgow Evening Times in recent weeks, but Dahan stated that these links were wide of the mark this morning.
"Efe is staying at Celtic," he said to the same paper.
Deila warns against complacency
Celtic boss Ronny Deila has urged his players not to be complacent when they take on Rangers this weekend.
The Bhoys go into the game as heavy favourites to beat their rivals, but Deila believes that the shocks which occurred in the FA Cup in England last week serve as a good warning to his side that anything can happen.
"We have big respect for the team we are going to meet. It's going to be a tough game," he said to the BBC.
"Just look back at last weekend; Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham [losing in the FA Cup] - the cup is the cup. Everything is possible in football, that's why we love the game."
