Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for their match against Sheffield United with all but two of their first-team currently available.
The two sides go head-to-head in the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final and the Spurs manager has revealed that he has only two players unavailable for the game.
Belgian international Nacer Chadli returned to first-team training this week following time away on personal leave, but he will not be involved in Tottenham’s upcoming match.
Nabil Bentaleb is also unavailable due to his participation in Algeria’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
“Nacer won’t be available,” Pochettino said. “We need to analyse his situation after 10 days away.
“Everyone else is okay and we will decide the squad after training.”
Tottenham lead 1-0 courtesy of an Andros Townsend penalty in the first leg at White Hart Lane, but the match is anything but over with League One Sheffield United proving to be cup specialists in recent times.
That said, Spurs will not want to be eliminated from two cup competitions in less than a week so expect Pochettino to play his strongest available side at Bramall Lane.
