Chelsea will head into the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Liverpool hoping for a better performance than the side managed against Bradford City in the FA Cup last weekend.
Jose Mourinho will drill into his players the need for them to start this match in positive fashion to show the fans there’s no air of complacency after the side’s worst defeat so far this season.
With the pressure of a potential quadruple now taken away from the Blues, Mourinho may feel they stand a good chance of producing some good and productive attacking football.
For Liverpool it’s a case of getting stuck in and piling on the misery. The Reds fought well in the first leg and may consider themselves unlucky not to have taken more into the game tomorrow night.
If Liverpool can reproduce some of the football they played during the first leg then manager Brendan Rodgers will be very confident of the side getting the right result.
Here are the possible teams Mourinho and Rodgers could go with for the game.
Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Oscar, Willian, Hazard, Costa
Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Allen, Lallana, Sterling, Lambert
